“Since we first worked with an RM crusher in 2010, these awesome RUBBLE MASTER machines have become an integral part of all our projects,” says Dubi Hyams, owner of G. Ream Construction Ltd in Israel. Back then a particularly severe winter had destroyed the beach promenade in the bay of Haifa. “We rapidly dismantled and removed the 22,000 m² of paving slabs. But then we didn’t really know what to do with them,” recalls Dubi Hyams. When the idea of crushing and recycling the material came up, that is when RUBBLE MASTER came into the equation. “The idea of buying a used RM 60 was brilliant,” says Hyams.
In the end the crushed material was turned into an amphitheatre with dance floor on the beach. The photos below show the beach promenade eight years later.
The project brought about a rethink at G. Ream Construction: just a short time later, the company was looking for another solution to recycle various excavated and reclaimed materials. Buying an RM 70 was the next logical step. Since business was going very well, Hyams then switched to the larger RM 100GO! Using the RM crusher, RM MS100GO! mesh deck screen and RM RFB100GO! refeeding belt, the entrepreneur and his team recycle all kinds of different materials from asphalt to concrete and from natural stone to type A material. “We haven’t had to buy material from a quarry for a long time, and we’re always finding ways to process the material we’ve recycled,” says Dubi Hyams, proud of his lucrative line of business.

Natural rock
Crushing at a high output and low wear, and that in every possible and impossible location, is not an issue for RM crushers. Abrasive rock

Basalt preparation
Crushed basalt is used for a variety of purposes. Most often, it is crushed to be used as an aggregate in construction projects.
Increase in orders with cuboid final aggregate
In Mexico the RM 100GO! replaces a jaw and cone crusher combination. Basalt with a diameter of up to 500 mm is crushed into different sizes of cuboid final aggregate, which is then reused for asphalt production. Final aggregate grades between 0-19 and 0 25 mm are processed to a high standard without any problems.
RM 70GO! 2.0 crushes hard river basalt
The first mobile RM crusher in Gorontalo, Indonesia, has been in operation since spring 2017. The new RM 70GO! 2.0 replaces several machines at once: instead of using the jaw crusher combined with a cone crusher, this mobile crusher unit processes extremely hard river basalt in a single pass.
