For Alfred Frühwirth the new RM wind sifter represents a major advantage over competitors when it comes to acquiring new orders as a contractor. Frühwirth GmbH has been hiring out the RM 100GO! with wind sifter in Styria for three months. The mobile impact crusher is currently in operation at the company Recycling Center Retznei GmbH where it is processing 4,000 t of construction debris to make end aggregate with a diameter of 0-32 mm. The material is then used as a secondary raw material in cement production. “The top priority for my customer was for it to be possible to blow out wood and lightweight matter to create high-quality aggregate. Thanks to the RM 100GO! with integrated wind sifter I was in a position to offer this high-quality aggregate.
Separating mineral from non-mineral materials
The heart of the RM wind sifter is a variably adjustable blower which supplies the air nozzle via a flexible connecting pipe. The air is expelled through a narrow slit and blows at an angle from below and through the material flow so that lightweight materials (e.g. plaster, polystyrene, textiles, films, fibres, wood, etc.) are blown out. By adjusting the nozzle, deflector plate and air flow you can adapt the sorting according to the respective feed material requirements.
The RM wind sifter is technically fully integrated in the new mesh deck screens of the RM MSGO! series and operated via the existing screen control system. Moreover, the RM wind sifter requires no additional power source as it is supplied with electricity from the RM crusher.
“RM offers unique customer service”
The high-performance RM crushers and the innovative new developments were just two of the reasons why Alfred Frühwirth has been hiring RM crushers since his company was founded in 2013. “The customer service offered by RUBBLE MASTER is unique. They look after you perfectly throughout the entire hire period, regardless of whether it is spare parts availability or assistance in the form of information on how you can operate the crusher even more efficiently,” says a convinced Frühwirth. “For us as the manufacturer this exchange with customers is extremely important. On the one hand it enables us to grow customer satisfaction and, on the other hand, we get direct feedback from the market and can adapt our machines in the best way possible to meet customer requirements,” explains Rudolf Schöflinger, Managing Director of RUBBLE MASTER Austria subsidiary RMM (RUBBLE MASTER VERTRIEBS- UND MARKETING GmbH).
Crushing track ballast and asphalt
The RM 100GO! will remain with Frühwirth GmbH after the four weeks in action so it can then set off for its next job for a regular customer of Frühwirth. The RUBBLE MASTER will have rail ballast and asphalt on the programme for around 5 months. The aggregate produced will be reused as base material.
Our crushers in action
RM 100GO!
The RM 100GO! is the star among the mobile crushers – a mobile power pack for every application. It is ready for action within minutes and can handle a wide variety of materials extremely quickly. Weighing in at only 29 t when empty, it crushes up to 250 tonnes of material per hour.
Natural rock
Crushing at a high output and low wear, and that in every possible and impossible location, is not an issue for RM crushers. They manage to generate the highest quality value grain from natural stone on site. Depending on the desired combination of machinery. The end result is always cubic aggregate.
Abrasive rock
Quartz gravel, granite and riverbed gravel are not easy to process because high levels of quartz cause high wear. However, RM crushers are designed for such materials: thanks to their compact size they can achieve high throughputs even in tight spaces, producing valuable aggregate directly on site at all times.
Schrefler relies on RM hybrid crusher
Demolition work and mobile recycling have been part of Manfred Schrefler’s range of services since 2016; previously he was known primarily for transport and earthwork. In terms of machinery, the Upper Austrian relies on top quality and always has the very latest technology.
Basalt preparation
Crushed basalt is used for a variety of purposes. Most often, it is crushed to be used as an aggregate in construction projects.
Increase in orders with cuboid final aggregate
In Mexico the RM 100GO! replaces a jaw and cone crusher combination. Basalt with a diameter of up to 500 mm is crushed into different sizes of cuboid final aggregate, which is then reused for asphalt production. Final aggregate grades between 0-19 and 0 25 mm are processed to a high standard without any problems.
RM 70GO! 2.0 crushes hard river basalt
The first mobile RM crusher in Gorontalo, Indonesia, has been in operation since spring 2017. The new RM 70GO! 2.0 replaces several machines at once: instead of using the jaw crusher combined with a cone crusher, this mobile crusher unit processes extremely hard river basalt in a single pass.
