What is a wind-sifter?
A wind-sifter is a device to separate lightweight material from heavy material by the use of an airstream. The aim is to segregate inert materials such as fabrics, plastic, wood, and leaves from heavy oversize rocks to increase aggregate quality.
Airstream NozzleX
The airstream nozzle is mounted underneath the cross conveyor blowing upward. This way lightweight material is blown over the cross conveyor while the oversize stays unaffected and is transfered to the return conveyor.
