We are currently recruiting for Quality Inspector at our Centre of Excellence in Dungannon on a full-time permanent basis. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all machines that leave the production line meet the high standards of RUBBLE MASTER Dungannon. The successful candidates will report into the Supervisors in each of the relevant areas. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient running of the manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality and productivity requirements. In addition, any successful candidates will feel comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring the production line to ensure that Quality is consistent and in line with the RMD standard.
  • Responsible for working alongside the Production Inspector to ensure that machines are fault free before entering PDI (End of Line Process).
  • Daily monitoring and inspection of sub assembly areas
  • Assist production and the Quality team with all quality issues and investigations.
  • Take charge of corrective actions and continuous improvement implementation
  • Attend quality reviews and provide feedback from quality performance on the production line.
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer during ad hoc activities
    Assist PDI when required.
  • Maintaining records on the quality reporting system i.e Testify.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in assembling, inspecting, or running of screening & crushing equipment or worked for 3 years within a heavy machinery environment.
  • Ability to read & interpret assembly drawings & SOP’s
  • IT literate (MS Office, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Work to the highest of quality standards
  • Problem solving & teamworking skills
  • Work on own initiative
